Hi, I have had this warning showing for a little while now. My right turn signal was not working so I replaced it. When I did this the new bulb worked immediately and for 24 hours all seemed to be fixed. The next morning the same failure message showed back up and the front right blinker is no longer working again.

Any thoughts on some trouble shooting before I have to take this to a repair shop?

Thank you,

Sam

They make some pretty cheap bulbs nowadays so that is what I would check first. Here is how to replace the bulb correctly. If the bulb is okay, it sounds like you have a BCM that is going out. To be sure we should do a CAN scan to confirm the failure. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Here is how to change the BCM out in case a code is stored for it, you can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay, have your VIN ready.
