My vehicle (listed above) is blowing hot air out of the passenger side vents when running air conditioner. It is a dual control system and from my investigation it points to the right side door blend actuator, but I am having some trouble finding it. Some info says it is behind the glove box, but when i release glove box I do not see it anywhere. Can you help? Any photos or diagrams? Thank you.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Here is the information you requested. Here is a tutorial showing how to replace a blend door actuator which is similar:

I've attached picture steps below showing the location and how to replace the right hand temperature blend door actuator on your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Why don't these diagrams for 2gen escapes never match the actual vehicle?

What do you mean, this looks correct to me? Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on :)
