Right turn signal will blink normal three to four times then will begin blinking fast (as if one of the bulbs were out), and a message pops up on my dash display saying that the right rear turn indicator failed. This happens more often than not; meaning there are a few times where the right turn signal will work properly. There have been a few times that I was at a stop when this problem has happened and got out to check if any of the bulbs were not working, but all them were each time. I finally switched out the turn signal bulb in the right rear lens to see if perhaps it was a defective bulb, but the problem still exists. I've had the truck for about two years now and this just started a couple of months ago. Not sure what changed or what my next troubleshooting step would be. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

This sounds like you could have a bad connector or a bad ground from the bulb. I have included a couple of links for you to go to down below.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/turn-signals-blink-rapidly

I have also included ground and connector information for you in the diagrams down below. Please go through all this information and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex

Joe,

No, my vehicle is the 2016 Escalade. I tested the wire harness and there is no output power. I can hear the relays under the hood clicking. I went as far as to purchasing a new BCM (per dealership recommendations) and programming the unit myself and I still have the same problem. So, any insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I have a favor to ask. One of us would be happy to help, but since it is a different model vehicle, I really need you to start a new post. We do this so it is more helpful to others.

I hope you understand. Just copy and paste both questions you provided to the new thread.

Here is the link to do it:

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/new

Again, I hope you understand. I will watch for your new post.

Take care,

Joe
