Right rear disc brake

The right rear rotor and pads were replace on my kid's 2002 Camry. The brake appears to be a singe piston floating type. The problem is that the rotor gets very hot after a short drive. I don't think the issue is an incorrectly adjusted emergency brake, but who knows. I did jack up the right rear and I cannot spin the tire. What steps can I take to diagnose the problem? Thanks.

Remove and check instal pad may not be seated correctly onto piston. also crack bleeder to see if pressure is present. check to see if park brake cable has tension appling piston
