Coming out of the right side of the automatic transmission, is a 15 inch long axle which plugs into a axle bearing. Next is, a 1 foot section of axle, which is connected to the other side of the Bearing. This 1 foot section of axle is connected next, into the right side CV joints. I would like to know, if I can pull, the CV joint, out of the 1 foot axle section by "hand', or is the CV joint "Pressed" into the 1 foot axle section? Can I use a Pickle Fork to force the CV joint from the 1 foot section of axle? Or what should I use?
There is a bolt on each side of the Bearing, they hold the bearing on the wall, do I have to disconnect these two bolts to pull out the CV shaft from the 1 foot section of the axle or (shaft)?
