Hi,

If none of the lights are working on one side, then I suspect there is a ground issue. It's possible the ground wire was damaged or left disconnected causing the problem.

If you look at the attached picture, it shows a portion of the wiring schematic for your vehicle related to the tail lights. I need you to check for the wire I circled. It is a white wire and will have a black stripe (tracer) on it. See if it is connected, damaged at any point, or broken.

Now, if that appears good, what I need is for you to check what is called continuity. Basically, in the affected light, I need you to find the white / black wire in the harness. Then, I need you to take a multi meter and check to see if there is a connection between the light socket and a known good ground on the vehicle. If you don't understand what I'm saying, let me know.

Here are a couple links you may find helpful:

If you only have a test light, see if there is power to the other wires. The dark blue should have power with the brake pedal depressed, the lt blue should with the turn signal, and the green with the parking lights on. Note that is the right side light assembly.

When you use a test light, you have to provide a known good ground, so if there is a ground problem on the vehicle but you have power when you test with a test light, then we know it is the original ground that has been affected.

Here is a link for using a test light:

I hope this helps. Let me know your findings. Also, let me know how much damage was done. One last question, does the signal work on the opposite side? What happens when you turn the right side signal light on? Does anything light up? Have you checked the bulbs themselves?

Let me know.

Joe
