Turn turn lever to the right it will blink twice then blinker shuts off. If try again and hold switch it will flash normally.

Just so I am clear, when you press the turn signal up (to the right signal) the stalk doesn't not stay after the second click of the turn signal? Then you have to hold it up and it blinks normally?
If this is the case, I suspect the multi function switch is the issue. There is a lock that holds the lever up and then a cancel latch pops out and when you turn the wheel it catches the stalk and turns it off.
