My Nissan Serena C25, engine MR20 backs up coolant reservoir until it spills over and DOES NOT show Engine overheating temperature RED LIGHT.

When I stopped and found coolant bubbling in reservoir. I changed Radiator Cap but the problem still there.

Bit of this car history below:

When I imported this car from Japam 2013, its radiator top cover was leaking and I replaced the whole radiator with a new one but it was also backing up coolant to the reservoir just like the current new radiator.

What could be the problem, please assist because am so stressed up with this car?

Best regards,

Francis.

What you're describing is typical of a leaking cylinder head gasket. Your mechanic can verify that with a chemical test at the radiator. That involves drawing air from the radiator, while the engine is running, through a glass cylinder with two chambers partially-filled with a special dark blue liquid. If combustion gases are present, the liquid will tun bright yellow.
