Hi,

This model isn't offered in the US. However, I will try my best to help. I believe it is the same as our Toyota Echo.

I need a bit more information. When you say, "spaced off'" do you mean it stopped working? Also, what happened when you applied the brake? For example, was the brake pedal stiff and hard to push?

Also, let me know if you had the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. If you haven't, I recommend it. Here is a quick video showing how it is done:

I will watch for your reply.

I meant when I engaged the reverse gear as I released the brake the car suddenly gained a terrible force and speed off without even using the accelerator and when I pressed the brake it couldn't respond. Otherwise moving forward everything is working well, but when reversing the problem comes.

Hi,

Okay. Are there any issues with a high idle speed? Also, how many times has this happened?

Let me know.

Hi,

If you have a high idle, it could be a couple of things. First, an engine vacuum leak can cause issues. Also, there is an idle air control valve on the throttle body that maintains engine idle speed. That could be failing.

Let's start simple. First, check to see if there are any vacuum leaks. Here is a link that shows how that is done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-an-engine-vacuum-gauge

Let me know what you find. Also, if the check engine light is staying on while the engine is running, I recommend having the computer scanned to see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes.

Let me know.
