Hi, I have a problem with the reverse lights, they do not light, only when I apply force on the gear lever to activate the reverse gear the lights come on. the bulb that controls the reversing of the reverse lights is located in the column. Together with the gear lever, or is it underneath the car mounted on the gearbox? Is there any way to repair or change it?

it can be a cable/linkage adjustment at transmission or switch on transmission just worn out and not engaging properly.
