The reverse light, camera and parking sensors don't work, my guess is the reverse light switch on the gearbox is faulty. The engine seems a bit tucked back in the engine bay, I'm wondering how can I get at the reverse light switch to replace it.

We don't have too much info on this car. It does sounds like the gear range sensor is the problem though which is unusually on the transmission near the gear selector cable connection. If you upload images I can help walk you through the repair.

I'm guessing this is faulty. The reverse switch. The image is from eBay and not my actual gearbox but one of the same model. I'm wondering, how I go about getting access to it to replace it? Can I get it from the engine bay? What do I need to take off to get at it?

Yep, that looks like it, you should be able to get to it by removing the air filter box and ducting, but if you lift your hood and give me images, I can help walk you through it.

Hi Ken, after checking bulb and connector in the boot I got to the engine bay, the cable leading to the reverse light switch was broken, I took off air filter and took battery cover, battery, battery base out for better access, disconnected switch and spliced the wires back together and that fixed my issue. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me, greatly appreciated.
