With multiple symptoms, if they all occurred at the same time, we would look for a common cause. In this case there is a number of places to start looking. The clunking when changing direction is typical of a broken or collapsed engine mount that is allowing it to shift position and rock excessively. That can also pull spring-loaded exhaust pipe connections apart resulting in loud exhaust noise.
The next thing is to have the diagnostic fault codes read and recorded. Those will indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, or the unacceptable operating condition.
