Most loctite sets in 30 mins but isn't completely cured for vibratiin and heat for 24 hours thats for the standard high strength (red stuff) ..so it depends on what type you used i go with the old rule of thumb ...(the stronger the longer ) there are some loctute products that take evan longer like up to 62 hours ...hipe this help good luck

Opps I meant to say the cure time can be up to 72 hours for some loctite products like the green stuff..also if yiu want to speed up the curing time .also the make a quick harder called 7471 that works well and also
be aware that especially with the stronger types of loctite ..
if you ever want to take it back off youl most likely need heat about 500 degrees applied for 3 to 5 mins or so to get it soft enough to remove again ...good luck

Yes " The standard high strength (red stuff) is 271.. it will suffice..just kake sure everything it strait in the hole .

And just a side note "
Try to Make sure you dont get any metal burs/ shavings/swarf in the spark plug hole while doing this if you think anything fell inside there you need to remove it completly or damage will occur somtimes you can blow it out with compressed air and a blow gun anyway good luck with your project let us know what you find .

And if i may add" as just a suggestion not sure what youre using but i dont recomend helicoils for spark plugs hole repairs..instead the best inserts are called "time certs " theyre more like a solid tube thats theaded inside and on the outside there a more solid permanent repair and dont have any of the problems the other types bring with them

Good luck hope this helps
