Hey ANITA,

To change the language of the car go into setting in the information center. There should be mire detailed instructions in your owners manual.

Please let us know what you find so it will help others.

Best, Ken

This is the method for many of the VWs with an MFD display. Start with the ignition off.
Start the car-

If you look at the wiper stalk (right one) it has a trip rocker button at the end. Push in on the bottom rocker for 2 seconds to get the settings screen. (it will say einstellungen not menu) then click the OK button (located on the bottom of the same wiper stalk)
Now use the rocker switch to scroll the screen to find Sprache/Lang and click OK. Scroll to English and click OK. You should now see the display in English.

To do the same thing with the steering wheel controls you start the car and press the RIGHT arrow on the right hand control. This will open the settings menu the first option should be language, scroll up down with the up/down arrows. Find English and hit the center button on the control to select.

At which step did it fail? That method should allow you to change the language displayed on the dash. If the menu option didn't work it is possible to reset it using a factory level scan tool as well.
