If I start the car, it runs fine. Turn it off and it will not start again for an hour or the next day. If I jumpstart the car it will start. Battery is brand new.
Key fob light comes on but infrared light I cannot see.

I have seen a weak crankshaft angle sensor cause this issue, but we should run the codes to see what comes up first. This guide can help you get started; also, I have left the location of the crankshaft angle sensor in the diagrams below just in case.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

So, I tried to start the car today. I left the negative connection off all night. Reconnected and the car wouldn’t start.
I tried jumping it from my truck and no luck.
I have the paperwork from the code read yesterday.

I have ordered the mass air flow sensor. Will install tomorrow.

Does the engine crank over? If so, you can try to unplug the MAF sensor to see if it starts, if so, get a new sensor.
