resetting HVAC

Replaced the HVAC head unit with a new (used) one, repaired the gear in the driver's side blend door motor. The driver's side gets heat now opposed to only cold air due to the fact that when the HVAC head unit got partially defective, that was one function that wasn't work I g for the driver's side blend door motor.
Now, here is the small problem: When setting the climate control unit to heat, the passenger side gets heated quickly and the driver's side takes a longer while. Why is this?

It could be the actuator. I would have replaced it instead of repairing it. That could be the reason for the slow action.

Did you calibrate the actuator?

Remove the fuse for the HVAC and wait 2 minutes. Then reinstall the fuse. Turn the key on and wait about 2 minutes for the actuator to self calibrate.
