Are there instructions to reset the two warning lights? I want to avoid going to Lexus for the computer reset (after replacing the rear pads and brake wear sensor).

Thanks,

Jon

Hi,

There are no resets that can be done manually. There are codes presently stored in the ABS module that require a scanner to cancel.

I'm sorry. I wish I had a better answer, but that is the way I was taught to do it because there were no other options.

Let me know if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe

Can I use a standard hand scanner plugging into the connector underneath the dash to reset the brake sensor code?

Hi,

If the scanner you have is one that can communicate with the ABS module, it should work. I'm not sure what you have, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Let me know how it turns out for you.
