How to reset the timing on the car listed above it is the XC model.

The computer controls the timing, there is no adjustment. If you mean how to replace the timing belt then you would be better served to get a subscription to AllData, or Mitchell1, as it is a detailed process that is much easier with the diagrams and procedure in front of you.
