I put a used transmission in. it worked good for a week then just stopped going. had to get it home on truck.

The used transmission is an unknown factor, check that you have line pressure and check for any transmission codes, let me know what you find.

Okay I will. also, the transmission fluid was all foamy it looked pink in color.

it should not be foaming up, this can be due to cavitation due to a problem with the transmission oil pump. a line pressure test may pick up a problem here. also low oil can do this as well.
