Reset check transmission sensor

I need to rested the check transmission sensor and the O/D light keeps blinking. How do I reset this?

Good morning,

The flashing light indicates a fault in the transmission. There is a fault code stored for this issue. I need the code for this to narrow the area of failure for you.

In most cases, it is torque converter related but needs to be sure. You can go to a parts store and they will read the code for you for free. Once I know the code I can continue.

Clearing the code does nothing. There is an issue and it needs to be diagnosed, repairs made and then the light can be cleared.
