Reprogrammed key fobs and now nothing works

I had to buy a new fob. The old ones would not work properly after being washed. Followed instructions in manual. The new keys i thought were programmed the lock and unlock were working. I waited 10 minutes nothing happened. Now the fob doesn't work and car has no power anywhere, no locks, lights etc. Help
