I am going to replace the torque converter on the car and I am thinking that will fix the issue. I am doing research on where to buy parts and how to do the replacement. If yall can help guide me through the process in anyway I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi,

This is a big job. If you are doing it, make sure to flush the cooler lines as well. Additionally, with experience, the right tools, and a lift, this is nearly a 10-hour job. The transmission needs removed along with several other components. Additionally, the engine will need to be supported while the transmission is out.

Take a look through the directions below and let me know if they help or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: These are the directions for removal. Install is the reverse, but I can get directions for those if needed.
