Replacing the starter for my car

1999 MITSUBISHI MAGNA
410,000 MILES • 3.5L • V6 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I've never done this before. Do have socket set and also jack but no stands and no hoist. Very limited space hard to remove the holding bolt for the starter.

Hello,

I would absolutely recommend not getting under a vehicle without it being supported properly on jack stands. There have been countless cases of people getting seriously injured and even killed by getting under a improperly supported vehicle. I have a few links for you to go to down below:
