Was wondering if anything had to come apart to change it out and if I need spring compressor? Every video I watched shows taking everything apart and need spring compressor.

Hello again.

I have attached a step-by-step for you. You will only need a spring compressor if you have a coil spring and shock assembly. A strut assembly does not require one. This is for your strut assembly. Hope this helps.

Hello again.

I would not. I would support the truck from the frame and let the control arms droop. The lower they can droop down the easier you can remove the strut assembly out. Hope this helps.

Hello.

Yes, once you remove the mounting nuts and bolts it will drop enough for you to be able to remove the strut assembly.
