replacing rear axle bearings

You show how to do it, but is there two or just that one on the driver side?

There will be a bearing on each side. If you get yours apart and find that the axle is worn you can get a bearing that is offset so you don't need to buy new axles. The axle shaft is the inner bearing race on those so they can wear where the bearing rides.
