I'm getting ready to have the spark plugs changed on my truck. I have the OEM part number for the plug type, however, when I try to order them some parts stores request the VIN number. Some stores don't request this information, so is this really necessary?

Thanks for your help.

Hello, I'm Danny.

You shouldn't really have to give a VIN number... Maybe that's just their protocol. I've attached pictures below of spark plugs that fit your truck. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
