Replacing radiator core support

After installing replacement radiator core support, cannot get the core support bushings to compress enough to fit into the fender holes again.

Can you get a couple pictures of this just to be sure we are on the same page?

Basically, the most likely cause of this is something is bent. However, it doesn't sound like this was an issue prior. Was this in an accident or what was the reason for needing to replace this?

Take a look at the attachment below and let me know if this is the mount that you are working on.

Either way, let's get a picture of what your issue looks like so that we can try and come up with some ideas on what needs to be done.
