My passenger side manual mirror broke off. I'd like to purchase a used mirror. No salvage yards
in my area carry the part. I've found a couple on line from different years but
it's unclear whether the part is compatible with my car. Does anyone know whether
mirrors from specific Saturn models/yrs will fit my 1999 Saturn SL 1 sedan? Thanks for
your help.

I looked at online parts catalog, same as you, typed in year make model. The parts book says 96--02 for that mirror. You have to paint the mirror itself, no big deal. Some mirrors come with mounting hardware, some don't, so you have to be sure. Sometimes if the mirror mounting isn't broken, you can just order the mirror itself, It should have an adhesive backing.

I'm the same as you, I hate to order a part and then it won't fit, I'd rather cut off a toe or something than to have to mail the part back. lol

The part I looked at was 14.67 .
Shipping cost depends on where you live. Shipping costs for my area is 11.87, okla.
