We don't have a manual on this vehicle so it is hard to give specifics but I have searched a number of sites and have not found where this was done. That does not mean that you cannot do it but just don't have the difficult issues worked through. So that means you will have to work through them without instructions. It is like trying to get some place new with out a map. It can be done but it is not easy.
However, the one suggestion that I would make is if you are going to an older engine, just make sure the engine swap is supported with aftermarket engine controls. Meaning if this engine needs an engine control module of any sort that there are options so that you don't have to try and find a vehicle that had this engine to get the module and then try and make that work in your vehicle.
In other words, you want a system that will be able to go in any vehicle.
Most carb vehicles don't require this so it should not be an issue but the other thing you need to look for is a transmission that will fit the engine and this vehicle with no real alterations. The best thing would be a bell housing adaptor so you can use your transmission. This will keep everything behind the transmission the same.
Let us know what questions you have on this. Clearly we can't give specifics on this swap but most of these are the same issues that need to be worked through. Thanks
