Replacing a transmission, how to remove and install?

I have determined my automatic transmission is bad. I plan on swapping it myself with a junkyard transmission and would like some instructions on how to remove and install the transmission

The transmission code for my vehicle is U660E.

Yep, I can help you, I would first disconnect the battery and drain the engine coolant. Next you are going to need an engine cradle to hold the engine in place from above, like in this video, which gives you an idea of what you are in for. The instructions below will give you the step by steps and together with the video you should be able to get the job done, I know it is for a manual transmission, but the steps are similar.

Remember to have the torque converter installed fully before the new transmission goes in because you will ruin the front pump when the engine is tightened down. This video can help will that:
