Replacing the alternator connector and need to know which wires go to what the new connector is a three wire. My car only has two, a black one with a white stripe and a white one with a red stripe which two wires from the new pigtail. Do I connect the gray, black and yellow?

Hi,

If you still have the old connector, you need to determine which wire goes to which pin in the connector and then attach the new connector wires accordingly.

I assume the new one didn't come with general wiring schematic, correct?

Also, if the new connector is a three-pin connector, are you sure it is the correct one?

Let me know.
