On the car listed above custom hatchback. What is the pinion angle? Rear end did not have perches on 10 bolt. Can you help?

Hi,

I have seen perches added (welded on) to the axle housing, but as far as pinion angle, I do not have specs for that. I would think you could determine it by copying the original perch locations of the OEM axle. As far as the perches, if the overall axle housing is the same length as the original one, then you should be able to measure the distance to determine what is needed. That distance needs to be correct of you are using the same spring orientation. You indicated it is customized, so I don't know if anything was modified as far as location.

The original spring perches most likely can be removed from the original axle and welded to the 10 bolt.

Okay, I think that is what you are referring to. Am I correct? LOL
