The right half shaft causes most of the problems but that wear is often overlooked by the rebuilders so a rebuilt half shaft can have the same problem. The wear is usually too little to feel. You have to clean the housing, then look at the reflection when you shine a light in it.
One of the engine mounts sets the position of the engine and transmission. You may be able to shift them a little to reduce the shimmy. Also be sure the ride height is correct. Anyone at a tire and alignment shop will have a small book that shows where to take the measurements and what they should be. Ride height is critical in reducing drive line vibration and cv joint housing wear. It also has a big impact on braking, handling and tire wear.
