My windshield wipers on my 97 cavalier stopped working one day after working just fine the day before. I checked the fuse and it is burnt on the two prongs but the middle isn't broken. I tried a new fuse but my windshield wipers still didn't work. I was wondering if this could be a short somewhere in the wiring or maybe my motor just went bad on me? Any help would be appreciated as I start a job delivering pizzas soon and its still snowing in Iowa.

If the prongs were burnt then theres gonna be damage to the wires behind it. Turn the fuse block enough to inspect/repair the wires first. Your motor might be going bad drawingtoo many amps or the loose wire terminals in the fuse block could've caused the over heating. Repair the wiring first! Then see if the motor works. If it does run it for a couple minutes and check the wires and fuse for being hot. If they are your motor is drawing too many amps, probably going bad
