After replacing the crankshaft position sensor, the engine will not stay running?

put a new crankshaft position sensor on and the car starts and shuts off right away.

Apparently, the engine needs to be at top dead center for the new crankshaft sensor to be installed for learning purposes. You could have a defective sensor as well here are the instructions and special tool needed to do the job. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
