After replacing the battery it will not start

So last night i bought a new battery we replaced the old one, now the van will not start. It is not the starter either. The front headlights also will not turn on (shows there on in the dash), horn is not working either. The shifting light to show what gear your in is not there either. inside lights work. Key fob is not working. Air compressor kicks on. i am at a loss. Please help.

I bet the system needs resetting. Disconnect the battery terminals and touch them together for twenty seconds. Then wait a minute and reconnect them. Make absolutely sure that they are completely tightened. A loose battery cable can wreak havoc.

Do that and let us know. We will go from there if necessary.
