How long does it take to remove and replace the transmission?

The base time is listed at 5.3 hours, but you have to add for transferring of some parts from the old one to the new one, (brackets, mounts, wiring harnesses, and things like that). Additional time is added if other steps or procedures are required. These times also do not take into account broken or rusty bolts and fasteners.
