I need to remove the interior door panel to get to the mirror connections. I have found (2) bolts. One in the recess of the armrest. The other inside the door handle. I stopped here because I was afraid, I'd break something looking for more bolts. It almost looks like the panel comes off in two pieces; one upper and one lower. So not sure what to do next.

I attached 3 pics.
1) shows where it looks like 2 pieces
If I could be so lucky!
2) the outside part of the panel where it still splits
3) just a view of the door panel

Sorry, Pic 1is sideways.

Okay, got to say cars are sure not made like they used to be. Looks complicated. Also, mine is a passenger door, so I'm looking at it at the opposite point of view. I believe I got it, though. Pic #2 has me a little confused. Does the plate on the arm rest have a center bolt? Then just pop it out with a pry bar?

Thank you so much for all of this! I really appreciate it. Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but I work nights and just woke up
