replace ignition now engine will not stay running

car will start run just a minute then shuts off.

Hi,

When you say ignition, what was actually replaced? For example, was it the switch, the ignition coil, and so on.

If it was the switch, have you programmed the system to recognize the new key? It may be shutting down due to the anti theft. Try this. Turn the key to the run position (engine off) and see if the theft light turns off. If it does, see if it starts then.

okay, I'll try it tomorrow. I put in a ignition the locking part at first it wouldn't do nothing. so I reprogram it now it starts runs a minute then shouts off.
