Replace ignition switch

Someone tried to steal my car they put a thin saw blade through ignition. It come down to there is no ignition at all in car left. Will i need more then just ignition to repair and how do i reset the theft security on ca

Hey KELLIE BENNITT,

You should be ok if you replace the complete ignition including lock cylinder and the electrical ignition switch. You will then have a new key for the ignition.

The electrical ignition switch includes a sensor for the PASSLOCK system.

You may need to do a relearn, the procedure is attached to this message.
