My speedometer is toast. I would like to replace it cheap with one from a later model non turbo. The only difference I see is the gauge goes to 120 mph on the 1989 GT and 100 on everything else. Will it still read the correct mph? What happens when I do 135 mph in it?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

For the speedometer to work properly, you have to replace it with the original type. The system is pre-calibrated specifically to your speedometer.
