2002 Renault Scenic Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I HAVE A RENAULT SCENIC 2 LITRE 16V AUTO 2002 . THE WARNING LIGHT FOR THE OPERATION AND FAULTS ON THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COMES ON AND THE CAR LOSES POWER. I THEN HAVE TO PARK UP AND RESTART THE CAR, I HAVE TO DO THIS ABOUT 2 TO 3 TIMES BEFORE THE LIGHT FINALLY STAYS AND THE CAR IS NOW OK UNTILL I PARK IT UP FOR 4 YRS THEN IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN.....CAN ANYONE HELP ....PLEASE !!!!!

have the transmission electronics checked by a good trans repair centre
