Recently the speedometer gave up. On the instrument cluster everything else works perfectly, i.e. tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, etc.
Any idea? Is it a common problem? Likely to be a fault in the cluster or at sensor end/drive from the gearbox (I'm not sure of the input to these things - mechanical conventional type or electrical).

Regards
