the speedo on my scenic is not working and i have been told that it works off the ABS sensor on the driveshaft. The ABS light is on on the dashboard and the drivers side ABS ring is cracked, are the problems connected or is speedo working off it's own sensor?
many thanks

speedometer has its own VSS (vehicle speed sensor) located on the gearbox
