2000 Renault Scenic how to refill and what type of coolant

Suddenly all the coolant has gone away, how do I refill and which type of coolant do I need to buy,

Firstly you will need to discover where the coolant went? Refill with just water for now to see if you can discover a leak.? It may just be very low and needs topping up?
