My car has as original equipment a 60 amp alternator. Replacement alternators are 50 or 75 amps. What problems might I encounter with each? I suspect an over/under charged battery. Anything else?

The 50 amp alt. Should cause no problems apart from a longer charge time it will still charge @ 14 volts and supply adequate power. The 75 amp may cause fuse blowing or wiring damage (in theory) this is not alway's the case !
