Electrical problem
2006 Renault Megane Manual

Renault Megane II 1.5D Dimanique 2006

I have bought a set of LED daytime driving lights, which are really only for cosmetic purposes, I want to mount them in the grill beneath the front number plate.

Q:To what, and how can I wire these (straight forward 'positive' and 'negative' connection) so that they come on permamnently when the car is running and off when the car is stopped.

Thanks,

I would wire to the sidelights positive and negative .. you would have to turn on the sidelights for them to work .. but it would be much easier than tracking down a positive in the engine compartment that goes on/off with key .. you could wire in a switch but this is a lot more work and you would have to remember to switch it off every time you leave the vehicle .. the only other option is to take your positive feed from a fuse in the fuse box that is hot/live @ key ON Hope this helps
