i have a renault megane 1600 sport, i was driving to get my little brother last night. i was doin 60mph then all of a sudden the car slowed to 30mph and wouldnt gain speed, i had to turn back and took me ages to get home, the clutch and battery are fine, can you help

have the car plugged into a diagnostic computer at a good repair centre to locate the cause of the fault !!
