1999 Renault Megane Fuel filter

The inline filter for the petrol version Megane Scenic has an inlet and outlet plastic hose and quick connectors fitted. The one fitting looks easy to remove i.e. one depresses an indent pad on either side of the fitting and it slips off. the other side is not the same, but must also have some or other release mechanism? All I can see is that it has two tiny holes in the side of the fitting. How do i get this fitting off?

there is a special tool to release the fuel line connector ... your local library or auto parts store will be able to supply a repair manual with detailed instruction's and diagrams !!
