Need help please or I will have to scrap the car.

Have the car for 5 month no problems, one day the electrical problem light begins blinking when driving (the square with zig-zag) if the car is under 1.5rps and the turn switch no working...

So I shut down the car and it won’t start again, the el. Problem light is blinking there is no red light (immobilizer ) so the car key doesn’t work (ir key). Car has contact but the radio and light are the only thing working. I have done the the trick with the fuse and the car turn on one more time so I drove it to mechanic... No luck after that the fuse trick doesn’t work any more.

My mechanics have no idea what to do next, and has given up on it... Any aides relay thankful I am comply broke any diy solution to.

Hello,

I would see if another key would work. if not lets do a hard system reboot. remove the negative battery cable and hold it to the positive battery terminal for 1 minute this will discharge the capacitors and let the system reboot. here is a guide to help us as well:

Please run down this guide and report back.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for the reply, the second key does not work.

I read about the hard system reboot and have found that there might be a problem with when doing so with the older models of cars with as you must readopt the throttle body.

I cant find information for Megane 1998, do you maybe have that information?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

We only have info for US cars which some parse over but not Megane. I can help in any other way we can. The throttle body will relearn so that should not be an issue. Let me know what happens.
